  • @intuition i think its great that u've stayed strong, its going to make a big difference to your kids, my mum smokes a lot and ive noticed recently that when i take my kids round to her house they start to cough almost as soon as they get in the door, and i hate it, i have to warn my mum that we are coming round so that she opens the doors and windows, but its getting to a point where i dont want the kids there at all! so it may not be obvious now and odds are that your children will be fine regardless of if you smoke or not, but why take that risk! well done again! and good luck with carrying on! xx

  • Your doing well by cutting down try the nicotine replacement therapies or when you feel like a cigarette find something you can do every time you want a cigarette e.g. Shredd some paper or have 1 square of chocolate. The other thing you could do is bank the fag money in an ISA and do a Disney trip in say 3 years that way you all have a goal. Best of luck you've come so far

  • Thanks for the advice @DoulaMoon, but I've come much further than that. I'm guessing you haven't had a chance to read the rest of the posts. I quit for good on the 3rd of April and haven't looked back since. Two months completely clean from cigerettes and I don't even crave them anymore or anything. Find it hard to remember smoking! The thought of putting one in my mouth now is disgusting.

    But thanks anyway hun xx
