  • I didnt get a letter, I got an email. Im a bit worried because I moved recently and they've still got my old address, I cant find where to inform them I've moved. Do you know if they can change the school allocation after its done because I've moved. Im still pretty close to the school, not much further than I was before.

  • @ryansmummyuk they email you initially and then send you a letter with forms you have to fill in to forward to the school yourself. Might be worth gettin intouch with council and explaining...

  • They must have changed the way they do it since my daughter started school. As far as I am aware they cannot unallocate a place once it has been allocated but I could be wrong. Like @intuition suggested I would call them up and tell them you have moved and get the forms sent to your new address.

  • @mumof2 I got an email then a few days later got a letter through the post. Inside, accompaning the letter was a form. It basically had a tick box to confirm you wanted to accept the placement, sign it and date it and then send it to the address on the form (the school). All this has to be done by the 26th of March. Basically they're offering you a place, you have to accept or decline.

  • my daughter is in year 2 now so it would have been 3 years ago that it happened but I know all I got then was a letter. I am glad they have changed the way they do it though, email is so much easier plus it more green lol!
