My baby girl's First day at School! Time to up my own education...
My baby girl started school today. Can't believe how fast the time has gone and how I've managed to raise such a happy, confident little girl. Everything went off without a hitch. Just excitement, giggles and running around! Not to forget teary eyes from mum, walking back to the car LOL
She looked AMAZING! Hope it all goes really well for her...
I've ordered the prospectuses from the Open University. Not I just need to submit an application and apply for funding, then it's lots of learning for me too!
Does anyone else have any experience with studying from home? What with three boys still at home, going to a college just isn't an option...

Everyone's kids have already started and Ash doesn't go until thursday cos she has an april birthday! I'm glad she was ok and went in without a fuss
I've only got Tegan at home from now on so I'm thinking of going off to uni but I doubt that will be until next year as she's so clingy I just don't think she's ready to be left.
How much "me" time do you usually get after the kids are in bed? When i was still at school (and only had ash) i still found it really hard to do anything during the day. The good thing about OU is that you can get little bits in here and there if the kids decide to watch a film or even fall asleep. And on pyjama days (don't know if you have them but i certainly do!) you can slip in little bits too.
Let us know what you choose to do! x

my mum works for the OU and has done 2 courses with them, and she says it is really good, the are really flexible and most of the work is done at home, you only have to go in for tutorials a few times. i hope it goes well for you! x
