not bringing up wind!

My sisters baby girl will be 4 weeks old this saturday but ever since she was born she hasnt really brought any wind up; my sister has given her this thing which im not sure what its called but its like this drop thing that is ment to help with it but she doesnt like it and spits it out - does anyone know why this might be or what we could do to help her bring it up, we have tried diferent methods of winding her but it just doesnt seem to help :/ x

  • have you used dentinox colic drops? Or infacol? Has yr sis tried lying her across her lap and patting her back? X

  • Have u tried sitting her up right on your knee and rolling her body (with her legs staying still) round n round like your stiring her....sounds strange but try it..works everysingle time with my baby xx

    Have a look at that website, it tells u what u shud do depending on what ur baby is doin ie Arching back, pulling knees up etc. Xx

  • If she still sees her hv get her to ask them for opinions. If she is on formula and she is getting colic then maybe advice her to talk to the hv about putting her onto a colic version of the milk, I know aptimil has one. When my brother was little and he was screaming one time I tried cooled boiled water and that helped a bit. x
