  • That depends on how many oz's she is drinking??? And whether she is eating solids yet? And also how much she weighs? If she isn't on slids yet then she should be drinking about 2.5oz per lb in weight in a 24 hour slot. At 7 months the average formula consumption is 32oz so unless hse's drinking 10 ounces at a time then i doubt she's getting enough. If you're worried about her take her to your HV. The weather can play a part in how much she wants to drink and also she could be teething, that always put my 2 off their milk for a good few days/weeks at a time. Make sure she is getting plenty of water throughout the day and you might want to try and bring the 2 night time bottles into the daytime by slowly altering the time you give them to her each night. That way she could be sleeping through without milk :) xxxx

  • @mummy2ebonie, wen my son was 7months old he was on about 25oz of milk a day, a 9oz in the morning, an 7oz during the day an then another 9oz at bedtime. He simply would not take anymore than that, an if he did then he wouldnt eat much as he would be full from the milk. He was gaining steady an healthy weight so i wasnt worried about him takin anymore than that. But if ure concerned talk to ure health visitor! :) x x
