I haven't got a baby monitor yet as my bub will be with me at night and naps she'll probably still be downstairs with me! But I'm sure places like boots sell good quality ones, if you go in and are not sure ask somebody that works there which is there best or something

ive heard that baby monitors are usually a waste of money actually, which surprised me, espesh seeing as it was in a posh mother and baby magazine! when you think about it though, ur baby will be with you most of the time, and even on the rare occasions when they are not, they scream so loud u wud hear them from another room anyway haha!
but yeah, if your stilll unsure, u cud read online reviews and ask around xx

I think if I had a little baby I'd be scared of something happening so would want a movement sensor with an audio monitor - a good one is Tommee one of kiddicare site for £50 with audio, temp and sensor pad (usually those cost near to £100 or more) otherwise I'd make sure it has temp and audio if possible. Ive invested in a breathing monitor by angelcare as my sister had one for her little boy whos a preemie and she said it really is the BEST thing shes ever bought you dont have the worry of checking to see if there breathing and if your very supersticious like i am then it'll be worth your money. They also have built in thermometers
