It would make sense because during pregnancy your immune system calms a bit to stop your white blood cells from attacking the baby because everyone's cells have antigens and some are unique to each person so to stop the body picking up on the baby (as they will be different) and attacking the baby's cells. So I'm assuming, along with your body recovering from birth, it will take a while for your immune system to fully build up again as in pregnancy your more prone to colds, etc, so also possibly the case after birth. I'm not 100% if that is what it is but that's what I think x

Funny to read that, I have had 3 colds and countless chest and sinus infections since I have had my little one!
