I've got a Petite Star Zia and I love it! Maclarens are nice too but the handles are too high for me

Maclaren quest is pretty good. Handles arent adjustable though, dunno if that would be a problem for you. It folds up pretty small but the seat unit is plenty big enough for a toddler.
You have to be careful buying buggies for older babies/toddlers as a lot of the light weight 6m buggies have small seat units and it can be a squash getting them in once they get to 2years ish. My sister has gone through tonnes because my niece is tallish for her age (not freakishly - between 75th and 90th centile) and the poor little thing keeps bumping her head on the hoods because the seat units are too short and you can't get her in some of them with her winter coat on because they are too narrow.
My sis has a petite star zia and doesnt use it much because the handles are too low for my nearly 6ft sister, but I'm 5ft6 and i manage it fine

@Earthmummy I'm only 5ft2 so it's perfect for me

I would recommend that you go into mothercare, toy r us etc and try them out. Have a look at them and decide from that. I have a Maclaren (not sure what model off top of my head) and I love it. My son started using it at approx 4 months old but I still use my Silver Cross alot at the minute because of the weather. My son is nearly 11 months old!
