GO!!! I dont go to surestart specifically but Ive been to loads of family centres and they are all really friendly, lots of activities for you to get involved in and babies are great icebreakers when meeting other new mums. Honestly, it wont be half as scary as you think! xxx

I love my local surestart centre. The people are lovely and there are loads of groups on.
If you dont want to go alone, you could take a friend.

my local centre, is where i have antenatal and alsorts for children it seems so fun, they have baby and me groups, and things they can do such as painting and alsorts and they get to interact with other children, and they offer days like pampering you doing your nails alsorts whilst the child careers watch the babies, and you can meet new mums and mums your age and make new friends
