sweep?

im 4 days overdue today and my midwife said she's gona give me a sweep, has anyone had one?if so did it work for you?
eeek carnt wait till my babyboys is here!:) x

  • Ive not had one but i do know alot of people that have had to have like 3 before its worked :/ but you never know it might have a different effect on you.Im praying that i dont go over my due date xx

  • i had 1 and in less that 6 hours i started t loos my plug and within 48 hours i was in labour can honestly say its not the most comfortable of things, but its worth it ! xxx

  • I know a few people who had it al 3 times and nothing happened, so i refused mine and hoped things would start naturally, 11 days over due I was finally induced. It depends on how high your cervix is at the time I think as to if it works or not xx
