Ask your midwife for advice- they'll know x
by Lottie 2 November 2010
I'd have to agre with Lottie... You'd be best off asking your midwife, as they know more about your personal needs, and past experience.
Don't let them fob you off, though - some aren't keen on allowing VBAC's, and need persuading!

I'm a student midwife and have met lots of women wanting VBAC's and some went well, some didn't!! It's all dependant on you and each pregnancy/birth is different!! You definately need to speak to your midwife about it but Heulyn is right, cos some aren't keen but if it's what you want then they have to respect your choice!! Good Luck x

I had a VBAC with my second child everything was fine, All the midwives, doctors, consultants kept a very close eye on me throughout the birth. i found having a natural vaginal birth was a lot better than having a c-section, straigh afterwards i could walk around and i got back to 'normal' near enough straight away, i would rather have any more children naturally than by c-section.
eventhough i had a good experience it can go really wrong (i dont want to scare you) so its best to see what your midwives suggest and consider all the advice they give you.
