Well usually they put baby straight on you for a cuddle while they or someone you choose cuts the cord, before whipping them away to do the APGAR test (i think thats what its called) basically they test how well they're breathing etc. They will have given you an injection (if you choose to have it) in your leg to help with the delivery of the placenta- sometimes they push on your belly a bit to get it out faster which can be quite painful but if you don't like it tell them to stop and they may ask you to try and push it out- like the baby! Then they wrap them in a towel and hand them back to you for another cuddle. After your cuddle your birthing partner or you if you are able can dress the baby then you can try a feed in whichever way you choose! Th baby has to be seen by a doctor before you go home and i think you just get seen by a midwife who checks your stitches etc.
If I've got any of this wrong or left bits out feel free to correct me- my mind is the best after having 2 kids lol bit of a sieve!
thats pretty much most of it, they will prob get you to have a shower or bath after aswell, and offer you something to eat, you can chose if you want the baby put straight on you or not, if you would prefer them to clean then up first they will do that for you, just have to let them know, also if you want someone else to cut the cord best to ask this before, as in the rush of everything it may be to late, they also give the baby a vitiman k jab if you want this sortly after birth, and after you have settled a while will move you to the post natal ward, if you decide that you want to go home before baby has been seen by the doctor (if you feel you can) they will arrange an appointment for you to come back within 48 hours
