I pay for everything myself, i don't ask for anything i never have but thats me i guess im just independant, although if i need anything my boyfriend's there with a helping hand and he'd love more for to help out when and where he can.
Having a child is not that expensive, my daughter has everything she needs and more, and i cope just fine ~
@mammylund If you claimed as a single parent you could get income support- that would be claiming as not living with your partner. If he doesn't work you could claim as a couple and get joint income support. Or if you've worked in the past (I'm not sure of the rules) you can sometimes claim maternity allowance. Your local job centre could help you find out what you're entitled to xx
i think that if he wants to buy it let him or just go halfs you are a couple everything is both of yours like the saying goes what is his is yours and whats yours is his lol x
