When this little one arrives it will be me full time for probably the first six months while my OH does police training at the other end of the country.

I've got 2 little ones. I'm a stay at home mum and my partner goes to work to pay our bills etc...
When he's not in work he shares the 'looking after the kids' duties and the housework. we take it in turns to do dishes etc. He'll go to shops and I'll hoover up, we'll both get a child each ready for bed, when they were bubs we'd both get up together for night feeds, and take turns at getting a lie-in
It's all about give and take. Your partners should be happy to help but you also need to watch you don't take them for granted, which I sometimes do!!!

I do everthing, purely because I live alone and I'm a single parent! It's not as hard as everyone makes out. You just have to be super organised and make sure you get the important stuff done and put a priority stamp on the rest... let the less important stuff slide.
