As ryansmummmy said, mother and baby groups are great, could you organize a day where you go and visit friends/family? Your partner may feel left out as well, like he is missing out on the baby, and you. Try to organize a 'date night' for you and him, even if its just a movie on the couch when bubs is asleep to spend some quality time together
Have you had a look at www.magicmum.com there are some great women on their who have become my friends and actually saved my sanity sometimes... I was hoping this site would become the same for me!
i know how that feels , do try talking to your partner about how you feel , even going for a walk in the park together after work is a great way of talking to each other , Sure start do some great things if you have one nearby , they offer baby massage training courses and people to chat to and hopefully you can make some friends with other mums in a similar situation. Also the local councils sometimes offer baby swimming sessions thats a great way to meet other mums too , Good luck
I feel on my own too, im not with my babys dad he has a new gf, he has bin a total dick to me, but i miss him so much!! my friends dont bother with me nemore as im a mum now, they dont understand that if my babys ill i cant go clubbing and stay out all night, or just dump my baby on my mum when i feel like it..just shows who your real friends are dont it
