Ex's new partner pregnant...

Hi,

My ex's partner has just announced she is pregnant... luckily I have a very good relationship with her, much better than I do with my ex, but Im a bit worried about the impact this will have on our son, will they push him out etc but at the same time very excited he will get a little brother or sister.... Has anyone else had experience of this?

  • Hi ryansmummy. I haven't experienced this myself so can't really comment. The fact that you have a good relationship with her is a good start. What is she like with your son? Hopefully the relationship they have with your son won't change once the baby is born but he might become more clingy and want more reassurance from you. Best thing you can do is be there for your son and make sure you do the best you can at home with him.
