My little girl rolled from her tummy to her back at just 4 weeks old, she did it for a few weeks and then stopped and won't do it anymore, she is now 4 months and very strong, if we balance her right she can hold herslef for maybe 3 seconds but then flops to the side, 6 month is when babies usually start trying to sit up alone and rolling over can take a while, usually front - back first and then back - front but they need the strenght to push past their shoulder so it can take a few practices, hope yur little one manages sitting up babies tend to be a little happier as they get more independant but i wudn't worry, each baby is different and he will get their at some point... doesnt sound like hes behind anyway and how many grown adults do yu know that havent learnt to roll over and sit up? lol it will come in time
