Well firstly sorry if TMI!!!! I went to the doctors this morning to get a mirena fitted, all nurofened up so I wouldn't be in too much pain afterwards but my god i was not expecting that amount of pain!!!!!
She had to measure my womb to check if the mirena was ok, but my womb was only 5cm and the minimum for a mirena is 6cm....so she said i could have the mini (copper) coil instead. So she went ahead and tried that but my cervix wouldn't open and she was trying for a few minutes before i told her it was too much pain!!!!
Now I have to go to my local NHS walk in centre where they'll give me a tablet first to dilate my cervix first and then the process should be much easier (apparently) 
I was already so nervous getting this done and now i'm even more worried. I've been left with terrible stomach cramps and back ache even though the mirena isn't in and i'm dreading next time :'(
Has anyone else had this or similar happen??? X

i have not had anything similar happen to me but i do recommend if you have not already to talk to someone about this as soon as possible
and i hope everything turns out ok x
