Well at least your 17- i was 14/15 and probably looked about 12 as i get told now at 19 i look about 15....i still get dodgy looks from strangers, espescially with 2 kids now!!! Over time i've learnt to block it out and i don't often notice it now but if i do i simply look away (this is new for me i used to have a go at some people who were extremely rude!)

What makes me laugh is half the people that are calling young mums bad, probably had youngs mums themselves- both my nana and my childrens dads nan were pregnant at 16 and to them it was normal to be pregnant at that age and both were married by 20......i really couldn't care less what other people think of me, i'm lucky to have my kids, we all are lucky to have our kids and shouldn't feel bad or guilty for the fact we gave new life to the world

I completely agree with littlemumma! dont worry about the nasty people who look down on you! your giving birth to a beautiful baby, and im sure youll be perfectly capable of looking after your child, no matter the age. good luck babe!
