Newly Pregnant?

To All The New Mums To Be I Strongly Suggest Requesting A Normal Midwife as soon as you find out your pregnant or during your first few weeks you find out instead of the ones that only work with teenagers.
My midwife is worthless n couldn't careless.. (& I'm not just saying that cause I've had a bad experience with mine..) but I do find the other midwives are more caring and give you the help you need.. I'm in my last trimester and your ment to see your midwife every week if it's your first pregnancy mine keep changing dates, not answering her phone, anytime I have a labour scare or a problem and I text her.. Her reply is "I don't know" and it's becoming a joke now till the point my boyfriend and mum want to give her some harsh words.. If I new. Before how uncaring she would be I would have asked for a normal one.. And it's all the time I hear about these bloody teenage midwives! So before you go thru the uncaring midwife I could recommend asking for an everyday midwife.. You wwould think the teenage ones would try make you feel as comfortable as possible.. (n)

  • Thanks for this advice, I was thinking about having a midwife that specialised in working with teenagers, now I may have to re-think it or look into it a lot more.
    Thank you xx
