  • Not a RISING problem, but clearly a "problem" nonetheless.

    Seen the photo they used???

I think they have some valid points in this (long) article... Maybe there is too much education, or too many people saying "of course you can have sex, heres lots of free condoms" (but they run out! lol!), but it's still a very negative article and the photo sickened me. The media influence the publics views in EVERY circumstance, so for people who do not know any teenage mothers, this is what they assume every young mother to be like. The daily mail WILL be hearing from me in due course.

The comments make for an interesting read too.

If anyone hasn't yet, then would love to hear your views on a topic I posted a few days ago:
    http://www.bubbalicious.co.uk/forum/chitchat/Can-you-help-me-by-sharing-your-views/

I'll be writing an article (or stating my case!) next week which I will be distributing to all media contacts. Would be good to have some views of teenage mums that I can include in the article, and that can help me build up a bigger picture that doesn't just include me.

I want to get some positives out there. It'll probably come to nothing, as they're not interested in hearing the other side of the story, but without at least trying, what hope do we have?
