will my twins get into sync?

Hey my twins at 13 days old and SOO far the seem to not like doing anything at the same time haha :D
My girls will LITERALLY one wake up, then the other wakes up.
Lila sleep SO well! She will sleep in to 7am every morning and only wake twice in the night max.
Emmie wakes about 5 times, but once I got back to sleep its Lila's turn haha.
Also Emmie wakes Lila up, but she is so good she just lays there and stares up and yawns alot as the light goes on haha. But I don't want it to interfere with Lila's sleep aswell as her habits are SOO good so far :)
Even in the day, I try to get them done at the same time, so they are on the same routine.
But when I feed Emmie, Lila isn't hungry or vice versa haha.
Typical girls.
It's not bothering me to much because I could stare at them all day long, but my fiance is going back to work in 3 days and he will need sleep as he works long shifts and if its like an average of 8-10 wakes a night, between the twins it gets abit much.
:)
I am currently trying johnsons baby nighttime bath stuff on Emmie and Lila,
seems to relax them more and last night Emmie woke 4 times which is very good for her.
I swear someone is giving her sweets or something, my baby is hyper 24/7. It's funny though as she doesn't look unhappy, sometimes she cries and if your ignore her she will shh, (coz she's attention seeking) you can tell by her cry when she is serious. :) But still wakes you up even if she is just seeking cuddles.

Any suggestions? Or know if they will get into the routine as they get older :) ? xx

  • Yeah it Emmie who is the trouble maker. Yeah I did consider bottle feeding, because I'm breat feeding atm. But I'm not sure if its enough for her, nutrients wise. I might start half and half :) xx Thanks

  • @kellyhowell combination feeding might help (so half and half) as she may be waking because she is hungry, although newborns tend to feed every 3-4hours or so. If you think she is doing it because she wants a cuddle maybe put a top of your in her cot so she can smell you on it (make sure she can't get caught up in it though).
In the day try and get their feeds as close together as possible and then you can eventually get them feeding at the same time, some mums of multiples prefer one to feed slightly before the other though because then you can feed one before the other starts screaming for a feed. I'm sure you'll figure out a routine eventually though. x

  • hi my partner has twin girls and they way they were got into a feeding routine weed during the night when one of them woke up for a for a feed during the night we woke the other one depending on which woke up first then after about maybe a week they started feeding at the same time. also when emmie is feeding during the night is she taking her whole feed? if she isnt and is falling asleep during the feed you have to try and wake her back up again to make sure she gets all the milk that she is wanting, as it sounds like she is falling asleep during her feed and wakening up realising she is still hungry and is wanting more, i hope this helps x
