routines?

what age are babies supposed to start getting into a routine, my little girl just over 3 weeks now and usually has 7pm bottle, sleeps til half 3 then about half 5?? was wondering how i could try and get her bottle later (like 12ish) and sleep longer through night??? xxx

  • you can start getting them in a routine from a newborn, and to be honist i wish i did..
    i started Josh's proper routine at about 5months (he was early so it was more like 2 and half months)
    and he took it really well.. his routine is
    - Tea at 5pm
    - Settling down time, let tea settle etcc
    - Bath at 6.15pm
    - Dressed and baby massage
    - And then bottle at 6.45pm
    - After bottle put to bed.
    he took it really well and it alseep for 7pm spot on most nights! and will sleep to about 8am :)
    you could try baby massage to relax her more and sometimes it makes then sleep longer but getting her into routine could help too .. if i think of anything eles i'l let you know :) - hope it helps abit xx
