Hmmm I guess while baby is still small and can't move much and having it close to the wall it would be ok,but i wouldn't feel all that comfortable doing it myself. Is there no way you could fit a stand in your room. They don't stay in moses baskets very long, 6 months at the most so you would need to find something else to fit in your room soon as i think alot of babys are out of them by 3 months or so xxx

If you do I'd recommend putting one of the toddler bed guards at the side just to be on the safe side. When my LO was a baby and we stayed at my mums we'd put his moses basket on the kitchen table, but right up against the wall and away from the edges... this was up until 6/7 weeks... xxx

is there any space where you could put a stand? they dont take up muchh room and then you could move it when your LO is not sleeping. i put mine next to my bed at night and then put it in the livving room during the day as that was where i spent the most time.
hope that helps xxx
