Sleep Routines

my LO is 3 months and hasn't really got a sleep routine yet. she usually falls asleep at 8ish and wakes up at 11/ midnight then has a quick feed and goes back to sleep, but then wakes up at 5ish. how can i get her to stop waking up so early, aand what time should i start her routine?

  • I started Ryan's routine at 3 weeks. I basically did what we did anyway but at a set time. I'd bath him at half 9, give him a bottle and put him to bed at ten. Had to do a bit of control crying but only took 3 nights. Then I started to bring it down, eventually till 8 o'clock. He started sleeping through the night at 5 weeks, every night from 9 weeks 8pm-8am and I swear it was the routine that did it! Just find whatever works best for your household hun. If she is already going to sleep at 8 keep it that way and build in a routine before it that you keep every night xxxx
