9wo travelling in his cot during the night?
I lie my baby in the feet to foot position with the top of his head facing the top of the cot, and during the night he will move so his head is against the side of his cot
any one got any tips on how to prevent this? i swaddle him in a blanket and that doesnt help.

tbh, its not the easist to prevent, i know you can get special things called sleep positioners to keep them from wriggling, however if your worried about the blankets going over your babies head, you could get a sleeping bag which will prevent this and so it wouldnt be a problem for him to wriggle round, or are you concerned with something else aswell? mothercare sell both the sleeping bags and sleep postitioners, hope that helps xxx

As long as the bars are close enough together to prevent him getting his head stuck, he shouldnt come to any harm

My daughter always wakes up with lines on her face from the bars on her cot, if i put her anywhere else she goes straight back to the bars...if that's where they're comfy then let them be! They will move if it hurts. But like @teresacharl said sleeping bags are a good idea if he moves alot, covers wont go over his face or get kicked off!
