  • Thats horrendous! If an expectant mother can quite smoking for money but not their baby they definately do not deserve to be a parent"

by Bethan123 about 2 hours ago

  • I think people should stop smoking for them sealth and ther baby growing inside them! No amount of money should be worth more than ther Child's health. And I no how hard it is to stop smoking because I have dun it my sealth.

by LisaT about 4 hours ago

  • Don't really argue with this... i admit i was still smoking at the start of my pregnancy... and i found it quite hard to quit... But i wanted to quit for the life growing inside of me... not for money. I Think Women will only quit smoking if they want to themselves...

  • dont thnk this would work

    by Jess12 18 January 2012

  • i disagree with this the woman would take the money and keep somoking :/

    by Shannon_mum 17 January 2012

  • This wouldnt work, if their not willing to do it for their baby then they are deffinately not going to be able to do it for some money x

  • no i dont think it would help if the woman wants to quit its up to her to sort it out x

    by Shar-lee 4 January 2012

  • i dont no if this would work its not as easy as just giving them money my mum stopped smoking and i saw how hard it was for her

    by Megan96 28 December 2011

  • I smoke so i personally know how hard it is to quit. I hate the way the everyone moans at you for smoking while pregnant. The thing is do they really know what it is like to give up??? If paying mums to be to give up smoking hile pregnant works then fair play, but personally for me it would never have worked

  • get a grip, money= temptation... if they care for the life they created they'd atleast try to stop.. stupid idea and britain wonders why its in debt get a grip.........

    by luv4lilz 18 December 2011

  • People would proberbly say that had stopped just to claim the money but carry on smoking. I think this is a rather stupid idea, the money could be spent on a lot more worthy causes!

    by Ezz-J 15 December 2011

  • I don't agree with this, i think it's personal choice..people know the risks and it's up to them after that. Once they have been informed of the risks it's up to them, if they have a child with problems after that they will have to deal with that. I don't think any baby should suffer because of their parents but its their choice.

    by Jambo 15 December 2011

  • daft idea, the idea that money is more incentive than your baby's health is a horrible one

    by LilynCrumb 8 December 2011

  • its really wrong to pay sum1 to stop smoking.. its hard but u have to do it for your baby because its the most important person in your life and u would die if you lose your child your heart would rip apart.. so do best what you can to keep your baby healthy

    by karinute 24 November 2011

  • They shouldn't need a cash incentive to stop harming their baby!! Just sit them down and force them to watch videos showing the harm they are doing and how their damaged their baby could be when its born!

    by JLo_92 18 November 2011

  • it wont work!

    by hannahmary19 17 November 2011

  • I think its a bad idea, they should willingly give up smoke to make sure their baby get as healthy as possible! Paying them is just like a reward and no doubt most will spend the money on more cigarettes!

    by NicoleLepage 17 November 2011

  • It is a good idea, but people are just going to pretend to quit and carry on smoking if they want to.

    by PhoebeT 16 November 2011

  • they should stop anyway if they loved there unborn child they wouldnt inflict that torture on them they should think would you give a newborn baby a cigarette no you wouldnt they need to stop bein selfish ans just stop no if no buts just stop

    by STEPHANIEZKM 12 November 2011

  • WOW, well this was very shocking to read. you can't trust every teen to stop smoking if they get paid!! some will just take the money and spend on more fags...

    by PaigeAmber 3 November 2011

  • Lol that will not help, they will use that money to go and buy some more cigarettes

    by bossladyp92 25 October 2011

  • no because you dont know what theyre actually spending that money on

    by NatalieBjork 23 October 2011

  • no, not only is it giving out the wring message,, but almost encouraging people to smoke before they get pregnant, so that they can cash in the money when they are. nicotine patches could be provided for free instead - that way, the money cant ber spent on anything else. but this scheme would be rewarding people who do smoke, rather than those of us who dont.

    by Star14 23 October 2011

  • Mums-to-be shouldn't be paid to quit! If anything, getting more money would make me feel more relaxed about wasting money on fags the more temptation there is, the more it takes out of you to quick however much you want to because of your baby or whatever. I've smoked on and off for nearly 5 years now and when I fell preg a year after taking it up I couldn't smoke I would actually puke and didn't figure this out at first because didn't know at that point that I was preg. but soon as I knew I started quitting. It is HARD but worth it because, yes I'm smoking at the moment, but with an innocent blessing growing inside you, I can't see how some women just can quit when pregnant.

    by lifes_a_test 22 October 2011

  • To people say they're addicted and can't is pathetic. I smoked for 7 years at least 10 a day and i started at 11 im now 18. When i found out im pregnant i stopped straight away and didn't look back, It's pathetic to hurt your baby for your own selfish reasons

    by JoMassiah 22 October 2011

  • Pregnant women should not be paid to quit smoking! They should do it for themselves and the baby! Like I am! I am quiting for me and the baby not to get money! It is outrageous!!

    by lulumummytob 20 October 2011

  • Paying them to stop in just outrageous! totally disagree with this, and im a smoker myself :)

    by kathspark92 16 October 2011

  • The money shouldn't be the motivation, the baby should! :(

    by LilynCrumb 13 October 2011

  • That truely is another waste of money if the motivation of your child isnt enough what is ??

    by Chloe_x_X_x 12 October 2011

  • If you don't smoke, then you do not know how hard it is to quit, whether you have the right motivation or not. I have been smoking for 7 years, and found out im pregnant, I have cut down from the 20 a day I was smoking but I am finding it incredibly difficult. I am thinking about whats best for my baby, and only smoking at the maximum 4 fags a day now but I think we should have a lot more support.

    by lolamay2806 10 October 2011

    by lolamay2806 10 October 2011

  • no. i smoked occasionally before i was pregnant but wouldn't even go in a smoky room when i found out. personally i think if someone smokes during pregnancy they shouldn't be allowed pain relief during labour. they're putting their kids through that why do they deserve it?

    by megan912 1 October 2011

  • Your unborn baby should be motivation enough to quit I think!

    by Ali-munchkin 28 September 2011

  • won't more money just mean more fags? lol

    by 21 September 2011

  • They shouldn't be paid to care about there baby.!

    by Lulu_x 21 September 2011

  • that should not happen, they should want to give up for their baby

    by Laurakate199 21 September 2011

  • Being pregnant should be the biggest thing to makeyou want to stop smoking

    by NicoleLepage 15 September 2011

  • it can be hard to stop but like moneys gonna help lol

    by Rach_xo 3 September 2011

  • i used to smoke an awful lot when i was with my ex and went back and forth smoking and quitting for a long time after we split up but since i have been with my current boyfriend and the father of my baby, i haven't smoked at all as he hates it, i don't understand how women can smoke whilst pregnant, its certainly something i coud never do for fear of harming my baby

    by Lucy93 29 August 2011

  • ive been smoking for a few years and do find it difficult to give up so i have cut down alot more to aboutt 6 a day x

    by Hollylilbump 23 August 2011

  • Yeah its hard and everything but come on thats a bit to far , its there problem they should take responsibilty for it x

    by Chloe_x_X_x 18 August 2011

  • no, i quit smoking as soon as i found out i was pregnant - you shouldnt have to get rewarded for looking after a child you have chosen to bring into this world! you should do it because its selfish not to.

    by Jadeemoss 11 August 2011

  • No thats ridiculous and this country is in debt as it is if women wanna put their babys health at risk because of ones craving then let them... they should realise its a selfish thing to do at least try stopping for the babies sake.

    by fruity1992 5 August 2011

  • It's not about fairness to non smokers, it's about healthy children & if people have never smoked then that's brilliant & means more healthy happy babies! It will work because there are ways of proving someone has stopped smoke like breath tests which test the carbon monoxide levels in your breath etc so proves it you're stopped. I do agree it won't work though if I'm honest cos if they're not the sort of mother who cares to that point about their babies health to do it purely for their baby then why bother in the first place? I'm not saying smoking is right or wrong but if the mother only wants to give up for money over giving up for their unborn that's just selfish & should no way be rewarded!x

    by Babycakes_x 4 August 2011

  • I know its hard for people to quit smoking but surely the biggest insentive to stop smoking is that your unborn baby is growing inside you. I think its gross when you see pregnant women smoking!!!! x

    by kellyhowell 2 August 2011

  • I know its hard to stop but i gave up again 3 months before i decided to get pregnant as i didnt want anything to happen to my baby :)

    by JadeyHexxx 1 August 2011

  • I stopped smoking as soon as I found out I was pregnant - because I knew it was what was best for my baby I instantly stopped - how would they know you had actually quit ... that's what gets me thinking x

    by Jade-Stacey 20 July 2011

  • This idea would never work. One word PROOF??

    by ScottishMum 20 July 2011

  • encouraging mums to quit smoking buy temting them with money is a good idea but also could be just giving them mor money for cigaretts i no its hard to stop smoking im 17 weeks pregnant and i stopped as soon as i found out i was pregnant with a little help and encouragment from my GP thats saying alot for me because i was a really heavy smoker so im sure if i can do it then so can outher mums !

    by Tathani 16 July 2011

  • its not hard to quit at all i was smoking for 4 years before i fell preg im 16 now and cuz i new it was for my baby it was sooo easy x

    by MummyLinton 11 July 2011

  • if money is more of an incentive for a woman to quit smoking then the wellbeing of her baby then i'm sorry but she's not much of a mother is she

    by JCTL2402 7 July 2011

  • it is hard to quit, and i dont think even money could help someone quit, it never helped me, when my family said they'd pay me to quit, its got to be done by will power, but then once you know your baby hasnt got the shit in its lungs because you give it up, you feel alot better for it:)

    by tshaunajade 28 June 2011

  • how would the government know if you actually quit?

    by Pindy 28 June 2011

  • I Smoke And its incredibly hard to quit so befor saying anything try and do it befor saying somthing i have been to new leaf tryed its soo hard and im still trying now

    by DonnaRebecca 22 June 2011

  • i dont think people should be paid to stop smoking, just knowing that its harming your baby should be enough, i bet most dont know the kind of things that can happen and how they have a higher risk of miscarriage, stillbirth, cot death and placental abruption, also that everytime they take a drag of a cigarette its like squeezing their babies cord, & their baby's little heart has to work 4 times faster to get oxygen around their bodies as they aren't getting as much oxygen

    by NatalieBjork 20 June 2011

  • I didnt smoke at all through my pregnancy. How much were they actually gunna pay women to stop smoking in pregnancy?

    by kathspark92 15 June 2011

  • I quit smoking as soon as i found out. I wont start again either, i think its just a disgusting habit! x

    by bbydollfifi 13 June 2011

  • no! if carrying a baby isnt enough to make someone want to stop then nothing is. i stopped smoking as soon as i found out i was pregnant

    by shazhun123 30 May 2011

  • even though it would incorage people to stop smokeing,, the fact is if you find out your pregnant that should be anough for you to atleast try to stop. i used to smoke and even tho it was hard i stopped when i found out when i was pregnant, i just started by not smoking as many . then only having half a cig, and smokeing menthol is a bit better as they have less tar in them but. to pay people to stop smokeing minght incorage people to eather strat or pretend they do just for the money . bottom line is if your pregnant you should do what you can to quit or cut down and beeing pregnant should be anough to want to make you quit :)

    by Wigan-Milf 25 May 2011

  • Most Of The People Commenting On Here DONT Smoke So Why Comment You Have No Idea How Hard It Is Quiting "/ I Still Smoke But Ive Managed To Cut Down & My Baby Is Perfectly Healthy & Growing Right etc....

    by ksg163 23 May 2011

  • People who smoke while pregnant are just selfish care about nuffink but themselfs i quite the day i found out i was pregnant even tho ity was really difficult i stil done it cuz ino its not just me its my baby to think about

    by MummyLinton 23 May 2011

  • They should pay the people that don't smoke, as a well done for not doing it! People who are pregnant and continue to smoke are just selfish :/ xx

    by lilmisslexi 17 May 2011

  • what a bad idea!! no way!! pregnant women should quit for themselves and their unborn baby, not because the government pays them too!! plus my tax money should be being spent on better things!

    by lollyp 24 April 2011

  • no, i think pregnant women should quit because they want the best start for their baby. that should be enough motivation!

    by hannar 14 April 2011

  • stupid! if they cred for there unborn babies they would stop! :) x

    by clairelouise 16 March 2011

  • idont think that women should be paid to stop smoking, they should want to do it for their baby rather than the money imo x

    by CaseysMummy1 3 March 2011

  • yeah it is real hard to quit, but you shouldnt get payed to

    by MissWillis 3 March 2011

  • how could money be more of an incentive than your childs health. it drives me crazy when i see mums and mums to be smoking. my paartner smoked but cut down to social smoking on a saturday m=night as soon as he found out i was pregnant

    by chiara-1 2 March 2011

  • i smoke at the moment and i'm 7 weeks pregnant. it hasn't effected me yet but i'm planning to cut down when the baby is born.xx

    by Caitlin1 27 February 2011

  • I've just quit smoking after 6 years, I thought it was going to be really hard, but it wasn't that bad! The first few days i was irratated but i just kept myself distracted by throwing myself into a book or cooking anything really. Now i feel fantastic, i am saving soo much money and don't stink of smoke (now i know how much it actually stinks!!) and best of all my baby will be healthy! x

    by xxSarahJanex 17 February 2011

  • im not sure whether i agree or not. i am an ex smoker and i gave up a couple of weeks before i found out i was pregnant. this was my choice and it took a lot of willpower to give up and even now i still get the urge to have one but i think all that time i have given up i dont want it to go to waste. i feel so proud to have given up all by myself with no incentive. i have now quite for about 3/4 months and if i was paid to quit i dont think i would feel quite so pleased with myself xx

    by Char_x 15 February 2011

  • i dont think mums shud be paid to stop smoking if they care about the babys health then they will just give up.

    by chan_11 14 February 2011

  • i think that the money that they would pay to stop pregnant mothers smoking could go to better useage x

    by Rihannah 2 February 2011

  • I've been smoking for at least 9 years and my partners parents have been bugging me to give up they keep saying i should do it for the baby but the thing is you have to want to give up smoking to be succesful but i don't wanna give up smoking i enjoy it "/ my mum smoked through all her pregnancys and she has 6 kids theyre all fine so i don't see what the point it i've cut down on how much i smoke but i don't want to give up

    by ksg163 31 January 2011

  • thats a bit stupid :\ paying them isnt gunna help them quit, they should quit for their babys health. well done to all the people who have quit thoo :) xxxxx

    by -Tory 6 January 2011

  • Id Been Smoking For 5Years I Wish It Was As Simple As Bein Payed To Stop But Its Not Its Down To You Not Money, As Long As Your Mind Is Set On It For A Perticular Reason Then You Should Stop. But Seriously Bribbing Pregnant Women To Stop Smoking Is A Fckin Joke To Be Fair, Because Some People May Do That To Claim The Extra Money . I Think Its A Waste Of Time And MONEY To Be Honest.

    by Charlayy 9 November 2010

  • i have never heard something so stupid in all my life....everyone nos that if they smoke while pregnant its gonna harm there baby!it just up to you to decide if you want to stop or not..

    by mum2bemma 15 September 2010

  • this is stupid ! im january 2011 they are stopping the £160 grant that goes to pregnant women.. they should not be doin that ! the goverment waste money on stupid things when they should be helping young mums.

    by ChanTella 9 September 2010

  • Ok hands up....yes it is hard to quit....but being paid to do so is Ridiculous!!! I'm currently using patches....i still have 2 smokes in the morning, but on friday i am also buying the inhalator to get rid of those last 2 smokes

    by Lynzlogan 24 August 2010

  • i dont know if this is true or not, but a few weeks back i was told that if you smoke whilst pregnant, and if you only find out late into the pregnancy that you are officially pregnant, then its not the best for the baby to completely give up, because then the baby too, will crave the niccotine, so its just best to cut down loads.

    by lauralicious 16 August 2010

  • I don't think anyone has the right to say anything when a mother smokes. It might disgust you, it might go against what you believe in, but that doesn't mean you should have some moral high ground. There are reasons women still smoke during pregnancy and just because one person is able to give up cold turkey does not mean it is the same for the next. I think it's a total waste of money, there are stop smoking programs out there already and only those who want to stop will do so. Others will just take the money and say they are 'trying' when they aren't because sadly that's the type of world and society we live in. Spend the money on something useful that the whole country can benefit from. Or better yet, save the money and get us out recession.

    by rubixcyoob 5 July 2010

  • I think it's stupid. simple.

    by Ayachan 3 July 2010

  • This is ridiculous! If your mature enough to be pregnant and bring up a child, you should be mature enough to know you have to give up smoking, if you really love your baby, you'd quit smoking without being bribed for it. I managed to quit within a week of finding out i was pregnant, why? because i knew it was best for my baby.

    by buttonz 25 June 2010

  • This is ridiculous. As soon as they know they are putting their babys life at risk from smoking they should stop they shouldnt have to be paid. Also people could pretend to smoke in pregnancy just to claim money from it.

    by katheriiine 17 June 2010

  • i do not agree to pay pregnant women to stop smoking!!!! the baby growing inside them ought to b enough for them, if they want to risk their unborn childs health by carrying on smoking then its on their back

    by Lexies_mummy 14 June 2010

  • I think that is silly, they might as well just give the money away to anyone trying to quit smoking, It's unfair too.

    by 9 June 2010

  • I think this is wrong it means more money is getting spent where it isnt needed instead of where it is needed like social services saving kids who really do need saving! x

    by my_princess 8 June 2010

  • I think its such a bad idea- bribing people to stop smoking- In my opinion if people don't have the decency to quit smoking and drinking for 9 months then they should bring out more warnings on the bad side effects on poor bubs instead of using money to 'tempt' people to give their babies a better start in life.. xx

    by KellyJ 7 June 2010

  • I think its a good idea but can see why some people wouldnt agree! I found it really hard to quit then one morning just thought ive got to do it for the baby! I think people who are planning a baby should deffo try and quit before they try, when its not planned its much harder! x

    by Saffy 6 June 2010

  • i think everyone should give up smoking whilst pregnant without a bribe.

  • I Think Its A Good Idea Bt Then Again Not One As The Smokers Could Just se The Money For More Fags =/

    by Gemma-Jayden 21 May 2010

  • I think that is a really good idea, I really struggled giving up because the emotions are hard to deal with along with hormones and it all messes you up.. Having a little reward system is a really good idea as it can be spent on the baby and gives you an extra incentive to give up. I don't think giving them money though is the best idea, something better could be done to help, but its good that people are actually trying to do something about it.

    by Kirshti 13 May 2010

  • this sounds like a really good idea! i really struggled giving up myself, with my first anyway, after i had her i didn't really smoke much anyway so giving up for my second was no trouble

    by rosiealford 13 April 2010

  • I think that is rubbish, you should give up on ure own accord surely the thought of ure baby not having the choice about the rubbish he?she is being given is enough to make u want to quit. I did, as soon as i found out i was pregnant i gave up straight away no questions asked, an my son is 7 months old an i till do not smoke.

    by kerry 27 March 2010

  • the day i found out it was preg i stopped smoking and drinkin and i still havent lit up a cigerette and my son is 4 months so im very proud of myself coz i was smoking 20 a day b4 i got pregnant but i still have a drink now and agen wen i go out but not around my son x

    by YummyMummyJD 25 March 2010

  • i think this is stupid why should ya get paid for stopping smoking while pregnant ! i mean i was a smoker been stopped 3years now and i didnt av any help at all x

    by kaybabe666 17 March 2010

  • when i was preg i stopped smockin but when i had mu baby i had to smoke its the only thng that relxes u when ur stressed and that its btter then having a drink i think xx

    by lil-lou-lou 16 March 2010

  • I dont Think A Mother should find it hard giving up smoking... Becausee i dont believe a woman should smoke while pregnant anyway... so that means thats they havent smoked for 9 months so shouldnt find it hard at all.. especially if they think about the benefits of it for their babies..glad i dont smoke!!

    by YumMumSophii 4 February 2010

  • I cant belive that anyone in there right mind would accept money for quitting smoking whilst pregnant, that just sounds crazy to me. You cant put a price on something like that, well I definately couldnt. I used to smoke, I was a heavy smoke infact, but when I found out I was pregnant I knew I had to stop, it wasnt the easiest thing, but I did it. And I havent smoked since, hopefully I wont smoke again, as I've stopped now for x amount of months which is amazing as I've gone this far hopefully I wont start up the bad habit again. As they say its the first days that are the hardest :).

    by alisha-x 29 January 2010

  • why pay women to stop smokin while pregnant .... they shud want to give up ... i quit when i felt pregnant .. i wudnt of done it for money .. i done it for my babys health and my own ... i dont think u shud pay ... people has there own minds ... i smoked with my 1st but with my 2nd i quit .. im soo glad i did but i know that if some1 tried to pay me i wudnt of give up ,... u have to want to give up ... not be forced to..

    by krsitina1989 26 January 2010

  • Why should they be payed to stop... If they choose to smoke in pregnancy its there own problem... cos if they can quit when you pay em then they surley can quit when your not payin them!

    by Nikki-Amber 21 January 2010

  • pregnant women should not have to be paid to give up smoking.. they should give up just thinking about the lil baby they have inside of them that they are damaging each time they smoke a cigarette!

    by FrancescaC 13 January 2010

  • someone should want to do it for the sake of thier child not be paid to they would prob spend the money on thier fags!

    by EmilyRose 20 December 2009

  • Alexandra i agree with you 100% - well done for quitting hun :) x

    by Bethan 28 November 2009

  • uhh i smoked and found it soooooo hard to give up when i found out i was pregnant but i wouldnt take money to help me give up? you do it for your baby and yourself...if you need money to make you give up when your pregnant, and your childs welfare isnt enoughh then what does it say about you?

    by Alexandra_ox 26 November 2009

  • I have never smoked and no one in my family or who will be potentially around the child smokes however why should someone who smoked be given money to quit what about the people who don't smoke (or have given up during their pregnancy) because of the health of their child being jepodised by the harm of smoking? They will be given nothing in reward! So why should people be paid to stop smoking surely they should just stop beacuse they care for the health of their unborn child. Seems rediculous to me!

    by KittyBoo 25 November 2009

  • i dont think money will help them quit its not that easy

    by dellxx 11 November 2009

  • no i dont think they should get paid to stop smoking! there babys health should be more then enough incentive to quit! why should people be rewarded for stopping smoking, when people who have never smoked dont get any rewards!

  • A woman shouldn't have to be paid to stop smoking....

    by Bunny89 18 October 2009

  • stupid,,, wel thats wat i think , no one should pay them to give up , if they want to then thy can

    by kirstyyy 15 October 2009

  • i dont think it will work ...and everybody knows that if you stop smoking you save a fortune so money isnt an incentive !! look into your childs eyes that should give you all the strength you need

    by gillhugh 15 October 2009

  • I dont think that scheme would be very fair at all, what about the parents who never smoked? or who stopped the minute they found out they were pregnant... would they get penalised for doing the best for their baby? surely there has to be a more fair way of doing it!

  • Has the goverment ever heard of 'digging your heels in?' The more it preaches at people to give up the more they are gunna refuse! Its human nature. I gave up because I loved my son and wanted the best for him and no money even compares to the will power that gives you!

  • A mother should love their child enough to stop smoking... Paying mums to stop smoking is sort of like prostitution.

    by 14 October 2009

  • I think this would be taken advantage of...people would pretend they smoked to get the money! I never have and never will smoke so i don't understand how hard it is to stop smoking but my sister used to smoke. The day she found out she was pregnant she gave up! I think if a parent has enough support in groups or individually, by health professionals or family and free patches etc, this really isn't needed and is a waste of money!

  • what a bad idea!! I have never smoked and never will. Why should smokers be paid to quit? How many of them would just pretend to do it for the money?? Give them free patches or something instead, not fair to pay them when you have other women who are pregnant and have never smoked! If they can't quit for the little life that is growing inside them, then what makes people think they would quit for money. Really bad idea!

  • Not read the article, but sounds a bit silly! Instead of paying them, could they just provide patches etc for free?

  • If you cant quit smoking when you've got a child growing inside you then there not going to stop for money

    by ConnorsMummy 10 October 2009

  • It should be enough of an insentive to quit smoking for the growing baby insde you insted of giving money whichis probably going to be spent on the cancer stiks anyway, Xx

    by Emily_Kate 6 October 2009

  • i disagree, If you can't stop smoking because you have another life growing inside you then what are the chances of you quitting if you get paid?? Even if they quit while pregnant, they will more than likely go back to smoking once their babies are born!!

    by xXxAprilxXx 5 October 2009

  • its a good idea, but surely they can use that money on something better?! mothers should be doing that anywayyy - my baby boy was born 10weeks earlier with problems, we went through hell and back when he was in hospital it was awful! (but he was worth it :D) but it annoys me to see mother smoking while there pregnant, when i never drank, smoked or anything.. and they would normally have a healthy baby.. but they to be getting payed for quitting tooo!? they will need help yes, but to be payed i think its abit much x

  • I know how hard it is to quit, but i disagree with HAVING to pay pregnant women to stop smoking. Its a babys health we're speaking about, i thought they would want to stop anyway. My PO though x

  • How can you put a price on the health of an unborn baby? But if it means just one baby enjoys a smoke-free womb, then go for it...

    by 3 September 2009

  • i guess it's really hard to quit so anything that helps
