Strike a Pose to Support Safe Baby Care!
The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) announced a campaign to lower the amount of non-accidental head injuries for babies under one year of age.
They are teaching new parents how to deal with stressful situations that can lead to unsafe shaking of the baby. NSPCC will be running pilot programs through hospitals in the UK to show parents the best ways to deal with the stress of having a newborn.
The charity wants volunteers with newborn babies to model for the promotion materials of safe baby care. Photos of positive parents cradling and snuggling their babies will be used as promo material to show that stress cannot come between a parent and baby!
NSPCC needs volunteers to spread this important safety message to help all babies in the UK.
If you have a baby under 8 weeks old, you can send a photo of you and your baby and a few sentences about you and your family to the contact below.
Photo shoots will start in February and travel expenses and professional photos of you and your baby will be paid in full!
