Me Ben and Bump: Days away....
I'm due on Monday and apart from a few pains here and there nothing is convincing me baby is on her way anytime soon, unless its 'the calm before the storm' which I'm hoping so as my back is wrecking right now, my bump has definitely dropped now the other night I got up 4 times within the space of 10 minutes because I felt as though I was going to pee my pants!
I saw the midwife on Thursday, she was very sympathetic when I explained about my back pain and my split muscles at the front she said once babies born she will help sort me out with physio for my split muscles if they don’t go back by themselves.
She also said to me baby was most definitely engaged and you can see how my bump had dropped lower since the last visit a couple of weeks ago, she said baby could come anytime now but if she doesn't come by due date (Monday 4th) then I've made an appointment for a sweep 3 days after which helps reassure me that if baby isn't here by her due date at least i won't be left in limbo just waiting around!
Fingers crossed she isn't stubborn like her dad and she comes out when expected, I guess it’s just a waiting game now, as much as I love being pregnant I've become so tired and its simply impossible to sleep plus everyone else around me is mega impatient and can't wait for baby to arrive!
I will keep you all updated on how I get on, you never know the next blog could be the announcement of our new arrival!
