35 weeks and counting

Blog Image

As this is my first blog entry, I thought it'd be an idea to introduce myself, and tell you a little about my situation, My names Sarah I'm 17, and fell pregnant earlier this year, after been on antibiotics, my pill was ineffective, although it's not ideal I would never change what  happened, I believe what's meant to be shall be, so like most of you In a few scary weeks I'm going to be come another statistic to the teenage mum figure in the United Kingdom, which is more publicised then ever, teenage girls have been getting pregnant for centuries, and every teen in this situation, no matter how hard it is for you, and no matter how scared you are about being judged, just remember your not the first teenage girl to fall pregnant, and your definately not going to be the last. Never feel ashamed, and pay no attention to judgemental people hold your heads high.

My midwife appointment was fine this week slight low blood pressure but apart from that me and the baby are all healthy and happy.  As for next week we'll be a busy pair so will update you about our adventures of scans and more midwife and antenatal.

Any questions feel free to ask, and I'll answer :)

  • Blogging your pregnancy is such a great idea, I'm sure it'll help loads of other teen mums. I was just 17 when I first got pregnant, so I know exactly how you'll be feeling. I know have 2 beautiful daughters :)
