    How long did you stay in hospital after..?

    Basically I was just wondering how long roughly you's stayed in hospital like after giving birth etc.. with/ without complications.. ?

    I've packed my bag + im just counting down the days now! til my lil man wantsa arrive :) im hoping to not have to stay toooo long as im not keen on hospitals AT ALL lol.. I know I'll feel most comfy back home + that + people are telling me as its my 1st I cant expect to be in and out lol **I wish.. Thanks.

  • I Had My Son at 4.33am and left Hospital at 5.30pm Couldn't Wait To Get Home lol :)

  • hi it all depends on ur blood presure with my because i had high blood pressure they had to make me stay in 3 days as i was in a high rish of having a fit. but if your fit and healthy then u can go home in the next 8 hours xx

  • with my first i had her in the morning and went home in the afternoon, i could have gone early but they forgot about me and so i didnt get dischared with my second i left 2 hours after having him xx

  • I Stayed In For 6 Days As My Waters Had Been broken for 36 hours, And there was a risk alfie had an infection as he had a temperature when he was born, he had to have antibiotics and i wasnt allowed Home Until hed finished his course, and then he had to stay in after the 5 day course because of jaundice :/ .... And As For Discharging Yourself You Can Yes..But The Midwives Make The Choice Whether your baby is well enough to leave... they can keep your baby in hosp even though you have left.

  • You can discharge yourself! lol.. I never even knew that, thanks for telling me, doubt I do that though unless I felt dead confident within the situation :). Yeah lil man could be coming sooner then expected! ..But I wont get my hopes up, for all I know I might go overdue + then all I'll be thinking is ahhh c'mon lol. Thanks everyone :). x
